The degree in which you are invested in something determines the importance and impact of events relative to your being. Time and money most often come to mind in terms of investments, however, the most basic investment we all share as humans is the vessel we were born with. Being so wholeheartedly invested in something, one reaps the rewards and consequences of all actions as reflected upon this body of ours to every extreme.
